in my boudoir experience
Before my own boudoir session if you had asked me if I had self image issues, I would have said no. I would have said I loved myself and accepted myself.
But what I wouldn't admit is that I had photoshopped every photo of myself that I put out online up until that photoshoot. I always excused the reason why and told myself "photos last forever and I want to control how I'm seen when looking back on them." I would have said that that reason was no big deal and that didn't mean I didn't like or accept myself. I didn't realize I wasn't accepting the reality that I did have body image issues.
But I was so wrong...and it wasn't until I received my boudoir photos back that I realized how wrong I had been.
Because when I got that session back I saw myself in a whole new way. I saw all those "flaws" I had been "fixing" on myself as beautiful and ME. I finally saw how important those character things were that I was erasing on myself. I saw myself for the first time as sexy, something I didn't think I was capable of.
I saw my beauty, femininity, strength, courage, importance, sexiness and worthiness.
Allowing myself to be a Bare Women helped me to find my freedom from the lies I told myself.
After my experience in my boudoir session, I realized just how important providing this experience for women is. I realized just how much I had a passion for helping women find their God given value and strength. Giving women the space to embrace themselves in a new way. And also providing an experience that fit the women that don’t see themselves as "dark and moody".
And since I started, still the most frequent thing that I still get told by the ladies that walk into my studio is "I’ve never done one of these before because the dark and moody that everyone does just didn't feel like me."

I know waiting to see your images is so hard! Sooo you'll receive some sneak peeks within 24-36 hours after your shoot!
This is when we can also set up your phone call to talk prints & albums if you're wanting to invest in any of those!
+ GALLERY DELIVERY!
2-4 weeks from your session you'll receive your full online private gallery link! You'll have full access to your gallery where you can download as many photos as you like! The gallery will be usable for up to 4 months after that you'll have the choice to pay to continue having your session hosted on the online gallery for your convenience or not.
+ LET'S TALK PRINTS & ALBUMS!
After you receive your gallery we can chat more about what print & albums you may want to order through the online store attached to your gallery. The prints & albums that you can order will be printed through trusted and high quality printers. Buying any albums or prints through the gallery store is something you can do at home!
However if you'd like to order an album where you and I meet and we design it together that is something that I also offer! Just ask!
No matter how you walk through that door, uncertain, or not confident, we will have you feeling beautiful, confident and laughing throughout your shoot till the end!
When you arrive you'll step into hair and makeup as we sit around chatting and getting to know each other more!
While you get hair and makeup done, I will also spend some time photographing your outfits that you brought as well as some getting ready photos. Once you're done with H&MU then we will jump into your boudoir shoot!
Once we figure what package works best for you, and you send back the signed contract, we will get you on the calendar! And you shoot will officially be on the books!
I'll send you my welcome package with all the tips for getting ready leading up to your session and it'll give you tips on choosing outfits, and how to prepare for your hair & makeup for your session!

Photo editing... we have a love hate with it these days in society.
I believe in capturing you in all your beauty and uniqueness. I want to capture you in an authentic way to who you are in real life!
I want to capture and portray REAL beauty.
So for that reason, I will NEVER photoshop anyone's body in any way that does not authentically represent that person. I will never make your waist smaller, your boobs bigger or your skin smoother.
However, that inconvenient zit that popped up that morning, consider it GONE! That bruise you got last week that is halfway healed, GONE!
Anything that isn't a permanent mark of beauty that you'd like gone I can do for you!
I want you to look back on these photos and know what you see is your true self.
